How to bid:

Just click the “bid here” button/link above and enter your name, email (this will be kept private) and the amount you want to bid.

The auction uses proxy bidding, which means you can set a Maximum Bid, and until that’s reached, you’re protected from being outbid.  For example, let’s say the current highest bid is $150. Now if  Bidder A places a Maximum Bid of $200 and Bidder B comes along to try and outbid A, A will be automatically protected till B outbids A over $200.

You’ll be notified of any other bids and whether you’ve won the auction by email automatically. If you win the auction, I’ll send you an email with a link to pay by PayPal.

PLEASE NOTE: As the auction comes to a close, you’ll need to refresh the page to see the latest bids. It may look as if you’ve won when the countdown finishes, but you’ll only see the most recent bids when you refresh the page. So, there may have been more bids that you’re not seeing!

Payment is by PayPal:
If you don’t have a PayPal account, you can still pay through PayPal with a credit card without having to set up a PayPal account.

I carefully pack the painting in a secure envelope and ship it via a trackable courier service.

International shipping is by Speed Post with package tracking facility. This is a service similar to USPS Priority Mail Express International. Delivery times differ depending on the destination but the paintings are typically delivered in 2 weeks if you are in the US or EU. I’ll send you the tracking number by email as soon as I send the painting. For Oil Paintings,  I’ll need to allow some time for the painting to dry thoroughly before I send it to you. That’s usually a minimum of two weeks but can be more, depending on the painting.

If for any reason you’re not happy with your painting, you can return it to me within 14 days for a full refund. You’ll have to just pay the return shipping.

If payment isn’t made within a few days of winning the auction, the painting will be offered to the next highest bidder or re-auctioned.

Paintings done at Mulshi

On 2nd November we drove to Mulshi and I painted two paintings on location. Inspiration for this trip came from photos that my brother shared of this area.

1. “November fields at Mulshi”

The place from where I painted this was on top of a hill and so it was very windy. I had to tie a stone to my easel so that it would not fly off. Still, once the board on which I was painting, did fly off and I got the paints all over my hand. Thankfully, it did not cause lot of smear on the painting itself. Due to the strong wind I had only about 45 minutes to finish this sketch.

2. “Basmati fields near Mulshi.”

I had seen this place while driving towards Mulshi but didn’t get a chance to stop and paint at that time. So, while coming back we stopped there and I painted this. The owner of this farm told me that the field was of Basmati rice.
