I enjoy painting the translucency of the pomegranate arils. The title of the painting is inspired by the product made by http://www.pomwonderful.com/ company. When I spent a year in New York around 2003-04, ads of their product were all over the Path train coaches which run in New Jersey – New York area. I never tasted their product but it remains in my memory. Hope I do not receive a copyright infringement notice from the company!

Few weeks ago, a creeper emerged in one of our planters. We didn’t know what it was and so inquired around, even via whatsapp. No one could tell for sure what it was. Then many many flowers appeared and some fruits too. Three of the fruits survived and grew big. We checked their growth every morning till something strange happened and the vine dried. Some happiness and some sadness. They are immortalized in this painting.  I think that they are muskmelons.
