    “First Rays – II”
    7″ x 10″, Watercolor on paper

    Daily Painting no. 264

This painting is based on a scene from Jim Corbett National Park situated in the Uttarakhand state of India. We enjoyed the dense forest, clean, fresh air and the safari rides to spot tigers.

I painted two paintings based on the same scene as part of a demonstration to compare my processes of painting in oils vs watercolors. The other painting titled “First Rays – I”. You can watch the video here.

Know More About Bidding Process, Payment, Shipping & Returns

    How to bid:

Just click the “bid here” button/link above and enter your name, email (this will be kept private) and the amount you want to bid.

The auction uses proxy bidding, which means you can set a Maximum Bid, and until that’s reached, you’re protected from being outbid.  For example, let’s say the current highest bid is $150. Now if  Bidder A places a Maximum Bid of $200 and Bidder B comes along to try and outbid A, A will be automatically protected till B outbids A over $200.

You’ll be notified of any other bids and whether you’ve won the auction by email automatically. If you win the auction, I’ll send you an email with a link to pay by PayPal.

PLEASE NOTE: As the auction comes to a close, you’ll need to refresh the page to see the latest bids. It may look as if you’ve won when the countdown finishes, but you’ll only see the most recent bids if you refresh the page, so there may have been more bids that you’re not seeing!

    Payment is by PayPal:
If you don’t have a PayPal account, you can still pay through PayPal with a credit card without having to set up a PayPal account).

    Shipping:

The painting will be carefully packed in a secure envelope and shipped via a trackable mode.

International shipping is by Speed Post with package tracking facility. This is a service similar to USPS Priority Mail Express International. Though delivery times differ depending on the destination, you can typically expect to receive the painting in 2 weeks if you are in the US or EU. I’ll send you the tracking number by email as soon as I send the painting. For Oil Paintings,  I’ll need to allow some time for the painting to dry thoroughly before I send it to you. That’s usually a minimum of two weeks but can be more, depending on the painting.

    Returns:

If for any reason you’re not happy with your painting, you can return it to me within 14 days for a full refund. You’ll have to just pay the return shipping.

If payment isn’t made within a few days of winning the auction, the painting will be offered to the next highest bidder or re-auctioned.
